Description:

The collar functions by restricting cervical motion, including flexion, extension, lateral bending, and rotation, thereby promoting proper alignment and supporting the healing process. It features a contoured, rigid frame combined with padded, breathable lining for enhanced comfort during prolonged wear. Moisture-wicking, skin-friendly pads help reduce perspiration and minimize the risk of skin irritation or breakdown.

Recommended For:

Designed mainly for adults with cervical spine conditions, especially patients who require rigid neck immobilisation such as:

• Post-operative care
• Severe cervical syndrome
• Spondylarthritis
• Slipped cervical disc
• Stable cervical fractures
• Other degenerative or traumatic neck issues

Instructions:

• Ensure patient’s head/neck alignment is neutral.
• Place posterior shell at back of neck.
• Position anterior shell with chin support.
• Fasten Velcro straps equally on both sides.
• Use adjustment tabs/buttons to fine-tune height and chin angle symmetrically.

Product Maintenance:

Padding Care

• Remove all foam pads before washing.
• Soak pads in lukewarm soapy water.
• Gently squeeze out water and air–dry away from heat.

Plastic Parts

• Wipe plastic components with a damp cloth — avoid harsh chemicals & heat.

Hygiene

• Do not reuse on another patient for hygiene and safety reasons
