Recommended For:
This walking boot is intended for individuals recovering from:
Grade II/III ankle sprains
Stable fractures of the fibula, talus, calcaneus, and medial malleolus
Post ligament, soft tissue, and tendon surgeries
Forefoot or midfoot injuries
Instructions:
Insert the injured foot into the Pneumatic Walking Boot.
The foot should rest flat on the boot's base, with the heel at the back of the boot.
Ensure that the foot is properly aligned and the boot fits snugly without causing excessive pressure or discomfort.
Start by securing the bottom straps first, making sure they hold the foot and ankle firmly but comfortably.
Secure the upper straps around the calf, making sure the boot is tight enough to provide support but not restrict blood flow or cause discomfort.
Ensure the boot stays in place during walking and does not shift or slide around the foot or ankle.
The boot has an inflatable air bladder that can be adjusted for personalized compression.
This helps provide better support and can help reduce swelling in the foot and ankle area.
Locate the air pump or valve on the boot. Gently press the pump to inflate the air bladder, which will provide the compression.
Inflate until you feel a firm, comfortable pressure. Avoid over-inflating, as this may cause discomfort. Deflate it to adjust the compression or to relieve pressure when needed.
Product Maintenance:
Clean the boot regularly with a damp cloth.
Use mild soap and water to wipe the surface of the boot.
Do not submerge the boot in water.
Ensure the inflatable air bladders are kept dry and free from moisture. Excessive moisture can affect the function of the boot.
Let the walking boot air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.
Store it in a clean and dry place when not in use to prevent any damages from moisture or dirt.
