Instructions:
Place the Post-Op Knee Brace on your leg, aligning it with the knee joint. The brace should cover the knee from above the joint to just below the knee, ensuring the knee cap (patella) is aligned with the opening in the center of the brace.
Position the brace so that the hinge system is on the outside of the knee joint. The hinges provide controlled movement while restricting excessive motion, which helps with stabilization and recovery.
Begin by securing the straps at the top of the brace, making sure it is snug around the thigh. The brace should be tight enough to provide support, but not so tight as to restrict circulation.
Post-Op Knee Brace has an adjustable range of motion setting, which is essential for post- surgery recovery. Follow the instructions from your healthcare provider or surgeon to adjust the range of motion (ROM) settings.
Set the appropriate ROM as advised by your healthcare provider to avoid overexertion of the knee joint and to promote proper healing.
Product Maintenance:
Gently scrub the knee brace with a soft cloth or sponge to remove dirt and body oils.
Make sure to clean the straps, Velcro, and any adjustable components to ensure they remain effective and functional.
Air dry the knee brace by laying it flat on a clean, dry surface in a well-ventilated area.
Store it in a clean and dry place when not in use to prevent any damages from moisture or dirt.
