Instructions:

• Position the wheelchair close to the person’s seat or bed for easy transfer.

• Assist the person in shifting their weight to one side while they lift their legs over the footrests.
• Ensure the footrests are securely locked in place after adjustment.
• When encountering small obstacles (e.g., curbs, thresholds), use a slight incline technique to lift the front wheels over the object.
• For larger obstacles, it may be necessary to use a caregiver or assistant to help with the lift.

Product Maintenance:

• Clean the wheelchair frame regularly. Wipe down all parts, including the frame, armrests, footrests, and wheels.
• Check the wheels regularly for any debris or dirt build-up, particularly in the treads, as it can affect the wheelchair’s performance.
• Lubricate the wheels and any moving parts (such as bearings or axles) with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation. Avoid oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and dirt.
• Ensure that the locking mechanism is functioning properly and securely holds the chair.
• Store the wheelchair in a dry, cool place when not in use to prevent rust or damage from extreme temperatures.
